The United Arab Emirates will strengthen its national framework and defense capabilities while reassessing its regional and international partnerships following what it described as “brutal Iranian aggression,” a senior official said.

In a statement, diplomatic adviser to the UAE president Anwar Gargash said it remains too early to draw firm conclusions from the recent attacks but emphasized that the country would move forward with reinforcing the foundations of its state model.

He said the UAE would continue efforts to safeguard national stability while enhancing its ability to defend the country.

“With the confidence of a country that has overcome a treacherous attack, we will reassess our regional and international relationships with clarity and precision, identifying trusted partners,” Gargash said.

He added that the UAE would also pursue economic and financial recalibration to strengthen the resilience of its governance model.

Gargash noted that a rational reassessment of national priorities would guide the country’s next steps as it navigates evolving regional dynamics.
