MANILA: Filipino households, restaurants and food vendors will have to shell out more money to buy liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) as oil firms implement massive hikes of as much as P403 (US$6.70) per 11-kilogram cylinder.

Seaoil Philippines Inc., through Seagas, said on Wednesday (April 1) that its LPG price has increased by P36.63 per kg.

Solane, in a separate advisory, said its LPG price has climbed by P17 per kg.
