FROM UAAP TO THE KBL 
Former two-time UAAP Kevin Quiambao of the Goyang Sono Skygunners has been named as the 2025-2026 Korean Basketball League Rookie of the Year.
With averages of 15.2 points, 6.5 rebounds and 4.0 assists laced by 1.1 steals and 0.4 blocks, Quiambao helped Goyang to its first-ever KBL playoff appearance with a 28-26 slate.
He’s the third straight Filipino ROY in the KBL after RJ Abarrientos (Ulsan Hyundai Mobis Phoebus), who’s now with Ginebra in the PBA, and JD Cagulangan (Suwon KT Sonicboom), who suffered an unfortunate ACL injury this season. | via Bryan Ulanday
