The Department of Energy said the Philippines now has petroleum supply good for about 50.94 days, as authorities continue to secure additional fuel amid global market volatility.
Energy Secretary Sharon Garin said current inventories have increased from earlier estimates, with sufficient stocks of gasoline, diesel, jet fuel, and other petroleum products.
The government has also confirmed incoming fuel shipments from multiple sources, including Japan, Malaysia, Singapore, India, and Oman, to ensure continued supply in the coming months.
Officials emphasized that supply remains stable, with replenishment efforts ongoing even as global oil prices continue to rise due to tensions in the Middle East.
Authorities said the focus remains on maintaining adequate fuel availability while mitigating the impact of higher prices on consumers.
The update comes as the government implements measures under the declared energy emergency to stabilize supply and support key sectors of the economy.
