The Overseas Workers Welfare Administration has shifted its membership renewal process online while expanding 24/7 support services to improve access for overseas Filipino workers.
Officials said the move allows OFWs to process their membership through digital platforms, with integrated payment systems making transactions faster and more convenient.
The improvements were announced during the agency’s 44th anniversary celebration at the Philippine Trade Training Center.
“For immediate assistance, lalo pang pinalakas ang 24/7 operations,” the agency said, referring to strengthened hotlines and response systems.
OWWA said the changes are part of its modernization efforts under the “Road to 50” campaign, which aims to deliver faster, more efficient, and more accessible services to Filipino workers worldwide.
