President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. has ordered full government assistance and the immediate repatriation of the remains of a Filipina killed in a missile attack in Haifa, Israel.
The president extended condolences to the victim’s family and assured support as authorities work to bring her home.
Officials said the Philippine embassy is on standby to provide all necessary assistance, including coordinating the return of the victim’s remains and supporting her relatives.
The incident comes amid escalating tensions in the Middle East, raising concerns over the safety of civilians, including overseas Filipino workers in the region.
Malacañang said the government continues to monitor developments closely, stressing that the safety and welfare of Filipinos abroad remain a top priority.
