Several areas across the United Arab Emirates recorded significant rainfall as convective clouds brought varying intensities of rain across the country.
According to the National Centre of Meteorology, Yanas Mountain in Ras Al Khaimah recorded the highest rainfall at 244mm.
Other areas that saw heavy rainfall include Manama in Ajman with 234.7mm, Al Hayer in Al Ain with 234.1mm, Mebreh Mountain in Ras Al Khaimah with 229.7mm, and Khatam Alshaklah in Al Ain with 226.6mm.
Authorities said the weather system was driven by convective cloud formations, which can trigger intense and localized downpours.
Officials continue to monitor conditions as weather patterns remain unstable in parts of the country.
