Places of worship across Dubai have begun phased reopening and updated visiting schedules as authorities move to balance public access with safety requirements and regulatory compliance under guidelines issued by the Community Development Authority (CDA).

The adjustments include revised visiting hours at Gurudwara Guru Nanak Darbar, the resumption of darshan at Shri Krishna Temple, and the partial reopening of St Mary’s Catholic Church for limited services.

Gurudwara Guru Nanak Darbar in Dubai announced updated visiting hours from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., with last entry at 5:30 p.m. Management said the safety and well-being of devotees remain a priority, urging strict adherence to CDA guidelines. Devotees also offered prayers for peace and safety.

Meanwhile, Shri Krishna Temple Dubai has resumed regular darshan services starting Saturday, April 11, in line with CDA directives. The management said the move reflects gradual efforts to restore access to worship while ensuring full compliance with regulatory standards.

St Mary’s Catholic Church Dubai has also reopened for limited liturgical services under strict protocols. Attendance is restricted to indoor parish facilities, including designated halls, while outdoor gatherings remain suspended.

Only adults aged 18 and above are allowed to attend obligatory weekend Masses, with entry strictly managed through a mandatory online registration system. Parishioners who are unable to secure slots are encouraged to join online streamed services.

Church officials advised worshippers to book early due to limited capacity and to follow safety procedures, with contingency measures in place to manage emergencies.

The phased reopening reflect Dubai’s coordinated approach to restoring religious services while maintaining public safety and compliance with government regulations.
