Celebration of Asian and Pacific Islander cultures in Spokane | Lifestyle

SPOKANE, Wash The Asian American Native Hawaiian Pacific Islander Coalition and the Filipino American Northwest Association invite the community to attend the Taste of Asia & Night Market and the Philippine American Friendship Festival on Saturday, June 20, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM at Riverfront Park in Downtown Spokane.

This free, family-friendly cultural celebration showcases the rich traditions, food, music, dance, and community contributions of Asian and Pacific Islander cultures throughout the Inland Northwest.

Festival highlights include authentic Asian and Pacific Islander food vendors, cultural dance and music performances, Taste of Asia Night Market, community resource and business booths, cultural exhibits and demonstrations, family-friendly activities, photo opportunities, and face painting. 

The Philippine American Friendship Festival celebrates the longstanding friendship and cultural ties between the Philippines and the United States while highlighting the growing contributions of Filipino Americans throughout the Spokane region.

“This event brings together people of all backgrounds to experience the incredible diversity that makes our community stronger,” said Dr. Jacqueline M. Babol, Executive Director of the Filipino American Northwest Association and President of the AANHPI Coalition.

The festival is made possible through the support of community partners, sponsors, volunteers, cultural organizations, and local businesses committed to celebrating diversity and fostering cross-cultural understanding.

Admission is free and open to the public.
