Abu Dhabi police chief visits patients affected by Iranian attacks

The Commander-in-Chief of Abu Dhabi Police and Head of the Abu Dhabi Emergencies, Crises and Disasters Management Team Major General Ahmed Saif bin Zaitoon Al Muhairi, visited Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City (SSMC) to assess the condition of individuals affected by Iranian attacks and review their ongoing treatment plans.

He was joined by senior officials, including representatives from the Abu Dhabi Emergencies, Crises and Disasters Management Centre, the Abu Dhabi Public Health Centre, and Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City.

During the visit, the delegation reviewed medical procedures and ensured that patients were receiving integrated care in line with advanced healthcare standards. Officials also met with injured individuals and their families to gather feedback on services provided.

Authorities reaffirmed that safeguarding community wellbeing remains the top priority of Abu Dhabi’s crisis management system, regardless of regional developments.

Major General Al Muhairi stressed the need to mobilize medical and logistical resources to support faster recovery, expressing confidence in the rehabilitation programs at SSMC and commending the efforts of medical teams.

He added that Abu Dhabi’s strong healthcare infrastructure and preparedness are key components of its emergency response system.

The visit concluded with a call for continued coordination among relevant agencies to ensure a swift and effective response to ongoing challenges, while recovery efforts remain closely monitored to guarantee sustained care for those affected.
