Abu Dhabi Airports has demonstrated strong crisis-response capabilities as operations resumed across the emirate’s five airports following recent weather disruptions.
At Zayed International Airport, teams worked closely with authorities and partners to safely restore limited flight operations after a temporary suspension.
Officials said coordinated efforts across aviation, transport, and hospitality sectors ensured operational continuity while maintaining safety and passenger support.
Airport authorities emphasized that all measures were carried out in line with strict safety protocols, with priority given to the well-being of travelers and staff.
Abu Dhabi Airports also reported strong growth, with more than 33 million passengers recorded in 2025, marking the highest annual traffic in the emirate’s history.
The figures reflect continued expansion in the aviation sector, with Zayed International Airport emerging as one of the fastest-growing hubs in the region.
