RAPID CITY, S.D. (KOTA) – Rapid City’s Filipino-American community is inviting families, friends, and neighbors to take part in the first-ever Filipino-American Family & Friends 5K Fun Run on Saturday, June 6, 2026, at Founders Park.
The event begins at 10 a.m. and is designed to bring the community together to celebrate health, culture and family. Participants can run, walk, push strollers, or simply come out to support those taking part.
Registration is $10 for participants ages 10 and older. Children ages 9 and younger can participate for free.
Organizers encourage participants to wear Filipino or American colors — red, blue, yellow, or white — to show their pride and help celebrate the Filipino-American spirit.
