Marcos satisfaction rating falls to record low ‘poor’ -15 — SWS

President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. posted his lowest net satisfaction rating since taking office in 2022 after his score dropped to a “poor” -15 in March 2026, according to the latest Social Weather Stations survey.

The result marked a 12-point decline from Marcos’ previous “neutral” -3 net satisfaction rating recorded in November 2025.

The survey showed that only 33% of respondents were satisfied with the president’s performance, down from 40% in the previous quarter.

Meanwhile, dissatisfaction rose from 43% to 49%, while undecided respondents slightly increased from 17% to 18%.

Under SWS classifications, ratings from -10 to -29 are considered “poor.”

The latest figure also surpassed Marcos’ previous personal record low of -12 recorded in March 2025.

The decline was recorded across all major geographic areas.

Satisfaction with Marcos remained highest in Balance Luzon at 42%, followed by the Visayas at 34%, Metro Manila at 28%, and Mindanao at 20%.

Mindanao posted the highest dissatisfaction rating at 61%, followed by Metro Manila at 59%, the Visayas at 48%, and Balance Luzon at 40%.

The survey also showed declines across educational levels and most age groups.

The SWS survey was conducted from March 24 to 31 using face-to-face interviews with 1,500 respondents nationwide and had a margin of error of ±3%.
