Content creator Arshie Larga has drawn praise online after providing fuel assistance to more than 1,100 tricycle drivers in Boac, Marinduque, amid rising oil prices.
Larga distributed ₱500 worth of fuel to each driver during a two-day initiative launched on Easter Sunday, aimed at helping transport workers cope with increasing fuel costs.
He said the effort was focused on supporting a sector heavily affected by the ongoing fuel price surge, particularly tricycle and jeepney drivers.
Larga clarified that the initiative was purely meant to help, amid speculation about possible political intentions.
Netizens lauded the effort as a timely response to the challenges faced by drivers, highlighting the role of community-driven support during economic strain.
