A total of 60 Filipinos, including 45 overseas Filipino workers and 15 dependents, have safely returned to the Philippines from Dubai.
The group arrived on April 23 at NAIA Terminal 3 aboard Emirates Airlines flights EK 330 and EK 336, as part of the government’s ongoing repatriation efforts.
The operation was carried out through a whole-of-government approach led by the Department of Migrant Workers, in coordination with the Philippine Embassy in the UAE, Migrant Workers Office in Dubai, Overseas Workers Welfare Administration, Department of Social Welfare and Development, Department of Health, and airport medical teams.
Returnees were provided with immediate financial assistance, transport services, and initial support upon arrival.
Authorities are also conducting assessments for reintegration under the National Reintegration Network, which aims to help returning Filipinos rebuild their livelihoods.
The initiative follows the directive of Ferdinand Marcos Jr. to ensure that all returning OFWs receive the necessary support as they transition back to life in the country.
