Thirteen overseas Filipino workers from Israel, along with their dependents, have safely returned to the Philippines, arriving at Ninoy Aquino International Airport on April 1.
The repatriates expressed gratitude for the assistance provided by the government, including free travel and support services facilitated by the Department of Migrant Workers and the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration.
Authorities said returning Filipinos were assisted upon arrival through coordinated efforts with airport and government agencies to ensure their immediate needs were met.
The repatriation is part of ongoing efforts to bring home Filipinos affected by tensions in the Middle East.
Officials reaffirmed their commitment to safeguarding the welfare of overseas Filipino workers and ensuring their safe return to the country.
