WATCH: An AW-109 naval helicopter was launched from the Philippine Navy’s BRP Antonio Luna during the first day of the bilateral Philippines-U.S. maritime cooperative activity in the West Philippine Sea on Saturday, June 27. A photo exercise (PHOTOEX) was conducted from the helicopter, capturing the formation of the participating Philippine and U.S. vessels during the division tactics (DIVTACS) exercise. Sailing with BRP Antonio Luna were Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) ships BRP Melchora Aquino and BRP Capones, while the U.S. Indo-Pacific Command deployed U.S. Coast Guard cutters USCGC Emlen Tunnell and USCGC Charles Moulthrope. | via Patrick de Jesus
