Coming soon in the PH, VinFast e-scooters now have an SRP
We’ve already seen VinFast’s upcoming electric scooters up close in Vietnam and even got the chance to ride them around the company’s sprawling test facility in Hai Phong. Now, we finally have a clearer picture of what they’ll cost when they arrive in the Philippines, with the SRP starting at PHP 70,000 to as much as PHP 107,300.
Before diving into the numbers, it’s worth noting that VinFast’s pricing structure differs from what most Filipino riders are used to. Buyers can choose from three options: battery subscription, one-battery ownership, or two-battery ownership.
Under the battery subscription program, the listed price covers only the scooter itself. The battery is rented separately through VinFast’s battery-swapping network for a monthly fee. The other two options are more straightforward. Buyers own the battery or batteries that come with the scooter, with each battery adding PHP 12,700 to the price.
Starting with the EVO, which happens to be my personal favorite of the trio, pricing begins at PHP 70,000 under the battery subscription plan. Opting to own one battery raises the price to PHP 82,700, while the dual-battery version costs PHP 95,400.
The mid-range Feliz II starts at PHP 72,400 with battery subscription. One-battery ownership brings the SRP to PHP 85,100, while the two-battery version is priced at PHP 97,800.
At the top of the range is the Viper. The sportiest model in the lineup starts at PHP 81,900 with battery subscription, PHP 94,600 with one battery, and PHP 107,300 with two batteries.
According to our dealer source, these prices remain subject to change ahead of VinFast’s planned July launch.
For context, the standard Honda Click 125, arguably the country’s best-selling scooter today, carries an SRP of PHP 82,500. That puts the EVO’s battery-subscription price squarely in the territory of mainstream gasoline-powered scooters, which could make things very interesting once VinFast officially enters the market and begins rolling out its promised network of 30,000 battery-swapping stations across the country. If that infrastructure materializes as planned, range anxiety could quickly become a non-issue for many Filipino riders.
