Filipino job seekers aiming to work in South Korea were assured of government support as they took a qualifying examination under the Employment Permit System.
Department of Migrant Workers Secretary Hans Leo Cacdac met with examinees in Mandaluyong City, expressing confidence in their chances and reaffirming continued assistance.
The exam is a requirement for re-employment in South Korea under a program coordinated between the Philippine government and Korean authorities.
Officials said the initiative remains a key pathway for overseas employment, with tens of thousands of Filipinos deployed to South Korea over the years.
The DMW reiterated its commitment to supporting aspiring overseas workers throughout the application process.
