In a statement, the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs stressed the importance of protecting diplomatic premises and personnel, citing obligations under the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations.
The UAE urged Iraqi authorities to fulfill their responsibility to secure diplomatic missions, investigate the incident, and hold those responsible accountable.
Officials warned that such attacks undermine diplomatic norms and threaten regional stability.
