Marcos says he is in good health, dismisses concerns

President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. assured the public that he is in good health, dismissing online speculation and saying there is “nothing to worry about.”

The president said he has returned to his regular routine, including exercise, and continues to monitor his condition following a previous diagnosis of diverticulitis.

He also thanked those who expressed concern but urged the public not to rely on unverified claims circulating on social media.

Malacañang reiterated that the president remains fit to perform his duties, emphasizing that his schedule and responsibilities have not been affected.

In a related development, officials said the government is preparing to take action against those spreading false information about the president’s health, as it called on the public to rely on verified sources.
