Repatriated overseas Filipino workers from Israel are securing new employment opportunities in Croatia through the government’s hiring program led by the Department of Migrant Workers.
Officials said several workers have already been deployed, with additional OFWs scheduled for deployment to work in the hospitality sector as hotel room attendants.
The program offers monthly salaries ranging from 1,050 to 1,390 euros and is part of efforts to provide stable employment for Filipinos affected by overseas conflicts.
Authorities added that more repatriated workers have already secured contracts and are currently processing their visas for deployment.
The initiative is under a government-to-government hiring agreement between the Philippines and Croatia, aimed at expanding safe and ethical overseas employment opportunities.
The Department of Migrant Workers said it will continue to support displaced workers by facilitating job placements and ensuring their welfare throughout the employment process.
