United Arab Emirates President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan received a phone call from Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim to discuss recent regional developments and their implications for regional and international security, as well as the global economy.
The leaders addressed ongoing Iranian attacks targeting the UAE and other countries, including assaults on civilians, critical infrastructure, and key facilities. Both emphasized that such actions violate sovereignty, international law, and threaten regional and international stability.
Prime Minister Ibrahim reiterated his condemnation of the attacks and praised the UAE’s response, highlighting the effectiveness of measures ensuring the safety of citizens, residents, and visitors.
Both leaders underscored the importance of containing escalation and prioritizing dialogue and diplomacy to resolve outstanding issues while safeguarding regional security and stability.
