vivo is set to launch the vivo S50 series in China this December 2025.
Ahead of the release, promotional images have surfaced showing the phone’s rear design and color options.
The vivo S50 will be available in four colors, which are Confession White, Space Black, Serene Blue, and Inspirational Purple.
Unlike the S50 Pro Mini, which uses a horizontal camera bar, the S50 has rounded camera rings on a raised module, paired with a flat rear panel and smooth edges.
The frame is made of aerospace-grade metal, and the device is rated IP68/69 for water and dust resistance.
Rumored specifications include a 6.59-inch OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 1.5K resolution, along with an optical in-screen fingerprint sensor.
The S50 may feature a 50-megapixel front camera and a triple rear camera setup, including a 50-megapixel Sony IMX882 periscope telephoto lens.
The phone is expected to be powered by a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset with up to 16GB of RAM, LPDDR5x memory, and UFS 4.1 storage.
It will also run on Android 16 with OriginOS 6 and could have a 6,500mAh battery with 90W fast charging.
The vivo S50 will officially be unveiled on December 15 in China. The device may also launch globally as the vivo V70. Stay tuned.
