Santo Tomas yesterday introduced the much-awaited UAAP Season 88 opening ceremony on Sept. 19 on the UST Grandstand and Open Subject adopted by the explosive weekend kickoff of the centerpiece basketball match on the Quadricentennial Pavilion.
Conserving its internet hosting custom to open the season at dwelling in comparison with different colleges in huge arenas and coliseums, Santo Tomas vowed a begin like no different with an anticipated crowd of 25,000 to 30,000 like its annual Paskuhan live performance.
“Now the gates of España are broad open. The stage has been set,” declared UAAP Season 88 president Rev. Fr. Rodel Cansancio, OP, within the league’s pre-season presser yesterday on the Dr. Robert Sy Grand Ballroom, Blessed Buenaventura Garcia Paredes, O.P. Constructing on UST campus.
“To the UAAP neighborhood, we’re greater than prepared to provide it our all and launch the loudest roar this season.”
