Thoroughbred Collection nets P72 million in gross sales

MANILA, Philippines — A staggering product sales of P72,059,676 was recorded throughout 17 races in the course of the Metro Turf Thoroughbred Championship Collection final Sunday on the Metro Manila Turf Membership Inc. (MMTCI) in Malvar, Batangas.

It ranked among the many largest single-day gross sales in stakes races to date this 12 months.

Unbeaten thoroughbred Morally, sired by MoTown out of Road Rally, shone shiny by ruling the second leg of the Prince Cup. Ridden by star jockey Mark Alvarez and skilled by Ernesto Roxas, Morally received the 1400-meter races in 1:23.

Varrati, bred from Into Mischief and Artemis by Empire Maker, shared the day’s largest honors by successful the second leg of the King’s Gold Cup.
