Prince Joey Lee and Maricar Camacho dominated the 21K race of Midnight Run Asia’s Manila leg held Sunday on the Mall of Asia grounds.
Lee topped the lads’s division with a time of 1 hour, 10 minutes, and 28 seconds, whereas Camacho dominated the ladies’s facet after clocking in at 1 hour, 28 minutes, and 50 seconds.
Rico Jay Patanao (1:10:46) and Jhon Paul Mauricio (1:17:11) joined Lee on the lads’s podium, whereas Jalene Cruz (1:32:15) and Eloisa Cusi (1:33:23) accomplished the highest three within the ladies’s division.
Within the 10K race, Daniel Jorge Cadavos registered a time of 38 minutes to take first place, adopted by Joed Alegre (39:39) and Nicanor Mabao Jr. (42:35). Among the many ladies, Maria Jonna Lina Abutas (44:36), Hazel Mata (45:09), and Meg Genuinio (51:52) have been the highest three finishers.
Mark Anthony Oximar clocked 18 minutes and 10 seconds to win the lads’s 5K race, with Mon Teruel (19:15) and Jeffrey Reginio (19:27) putting second and third, respectively. The Manila leg of the HOKA Midnight Run drew almost 18,000 runners, who took to the streets previous midnight — a stark distinction to most races sometimes held within the early morning.
