The PLDT Excessive Velocity Hitters at the moment are protected after being rescued from their coaching facility alongside Araneta Avenue in Quezon Metropolis, which was flooded on Monday resulting from heavy rains introduced by the Southwest Monsoon or Habagat.
In a publish, PLDT shared that the Philippine Coast Guard and Philippine Military assisted in rescuing the gamers equivalent to Majoy Baron, Kim Fajardo, Kath Arado, and Jovyy Prado amongst others.
“Maraming salamat po to our Philippine Coast Guard and Philippine Military and our volley mates who assisted in rescuing our Excessive Velocity Hitters out of the Araneta Avenue space,” PLDT stated.

In a separate video, veteran center blocker Mika Reyes shared that the group had been stranded on the coaching venue for a number of hours earlier than rescuers arrived with lifeboats, braving the flood to convey them to security.
