Alexandra “Alex” Eala faces Viktorija Golubic of Switzerland in the Suzhou Open WTA 125 quarterfinals on Friday at 10:00 a.m. in China, with a spot in the semifinals on the line.
World No. 58 Eala advanced to the quarterfinals after defeating Katarzyna Kawa of Poland and Greet Minnen of Belgium in the first two rounds.
In this stage, the 20-year-old Filipino ace will take on world No. 70 Golubic, 32, who reached a career-high ranking of No. 35 in 2022.
