Alexandra “Alex” Eala will take on Moyuka Uchijima of Japan in the qualifying round of the Wuhan Open, a WTA 1000 tournament, on Saturday, 5:30 p.m, in China.
The 20-year-old and world No. 58 Eala will face the 24-year-old Uchijima, who is currently ranked No. 92. Back in May, Uchijima reached a career-high ranking of No. 47.
Only eight qualifiers will advance to the main draw, which consists of 56 players.
