SAN JUAN, La Union — “Manila’s Finest” and “Unmarry” won nearly half of the awards at the 2025 Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) Gabi ng Parangal but it was “I’mPerfect” that took home the coveted First Best Picture prize.

The awards night was held at the Dusit Thani Manila in Makati City on December 27.

“I’mPerfect,” starring a cast of actors with Down’s syndrome, was also recognized with the brand new Jury Prize for Best Ensemble. Its lead star Krystel Go also won Best Actress in a tight category that also included Nadine Lustre, Angelica Panganiban, and Bianca de Vera.

Among the eight wins of “Manila’s Finest” was Third Best Picture, which it shared with “Call Me Mother.” It also shared the Best Float award with “Unmarry.”

The other awards of “Manila’s Finest” were in craft categories — Cinematography, Production Design, Sound, Musical Score, and Original Song with “Sandalan” — as well as the Gatpuno Antonio J. Villegas Cultural Award.
