MANILA, Philippines — Quezon Metropolis 4th District Rep. Jesus Manuel Suntay apologized over allegedly “offensive” statements he made on actress Anne Curtis however clarified that his intention was “to drive some extent.”
“For many who discovered […] the assertion offensive, I apologize to them. However that was not the intention. My intention was to drive some extent,” Suntay stated in Filipino and English in an interview with DZMM on Wednesday.

Suntay stated that “if some folks have been offended, particularly it’s Girls’s Month […], I am sorry for many who are, have been offended. However when you actually learn the context, there was nothing malicious in it.”
