SAN JUAN, La Union — Actress Carla Abellana is ending her year on a blissful note as she welcomes another bridal era.
Amid promotions for her Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) entry “Shake, Rattle & Roll: Evil Origins,” Carla managed to pamper herself before her big day in a white dress.
Carla was treated to a special pre-wedding self-care session at a popular beauty clinic’s branch in Parañaque, tagging along the special women in her life including her mother Rea.
“Heavenly! Ahhh-mazing experience with Mom and my girls. Definitely one for the books. Thank you for spoiling us,” Carla wrote in the caption of her social media post detailing the pamper session.
All things seem to point to Carla tying the knot anew before 2025 ends, especially after Carla posted on her Instagram story a social card that read “Last Christmas as a Miss.”
Showbiz journalist Ogie Diaz previously claimed that Carla would be marrying a former flame, now a doctor, in late December.
“Kung totoo man po ‘yun o hindi, of course, that’s part of my private life, I would like to keep it private. I invoke my right to self-incrimination, so I refuse to say yes, I refuse to say no,” Carla responded to such talks.
The actress was previously married to fellow actor Tom Rodriguez in 2021 but their union only lasted a few months, eventually ending in a highly publicized separation.
Their divorce was finalized in June 2022 as Tom is an American citizen, then recognized by a Philippine court last year.
Tom is now a father to an infant son, Korben, also with a non-showbiz partner. He too also has an Metro Manila Film Festival entry this year, “Unmarry” headlined by Angelica Panganiban and Zanjoe Marudo.
