HONOR recently announced that the HONOR Magic8 Pro will go global on November 27 in Malaysia.
To recap, the HONOR Magic8 Pro was unveiled in China last month, featuring a 6.71-inch LTPO OLED panel with 1.5K resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, up to 6000 nits peak brightness, 4320Hz High-Frequency PWM Dimming, and Rhino Glass protection.
Powering it inside is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 octa-core processor with Adreno 840 GPU, paired with up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM, and up to 1TB UFS 4.0 storage. The company claims it reached a 4.28 million Antutu 11 benchmark score.
The global variant will pack a slightly smaller 7,100mAh battery capacity, compared to the 7,200mAh cell on the Chinese model. It still supports 100W fast charging and 80W wireless charging.

Camera-wise, the Magic8 Pro boasts a 200MP Ultra Night Telephoto Camera with a large 1/1.4″ sensor and wide f/2.6 aperture. It also has an AI Adaptive Stabilization Model and HONOR’s AI-powered color engine. The rest of the cameras include a 50MP main sensor, a 50MP ultra-wide shooter, and a 50MP front camera.
Other features include an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, dual stereo speakers with DTS:X Ultra sound effects, Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 6.0 for connectivity, Magic UI 10.0 OS, and triple IP68 + IP69 + IP69K rating for dust and water resistance.

The HONOR Magic8 Pro will be available for pre-order starting November 27 until December 4. A free Insta360 Ace Pro action camera will be given to those who pre-order during the period.
