After its launch in China, HONOR has started teasing the Magic 8 Pro in Malaysia for a global release.
The teaser confirms that the Magic 8 Pro is coming to Malaysia soon, though it’s still uncertain if the base Magic 8 will launch alongside it. The release is expected to take place later this month.
For the global version, the Magic 8 Pro may feature a 6.71-inch LTPO OLED display with a 1.5K resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor.
For optics, it will offer a triple rear system consisting of a 50MP main sensor with OIS, a 50MP ultra-wide lens, and a 200MP Samsung HP9 sensor. On the front is a 50MP front camera.
Under the hood, it will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset paired with up to 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM and 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage.
It will feature a 6,720mAh battery and will support 120W wired and 80W wireless charging.
Out of the box, the device runs MagicOS 10 based on Android 16 and is expected to receive up to seven years of software updates.
