Gilas Pilipinas Youth fell to Chinese language Taipei, 106-82, to open its FIBA U16 Asia Cup marketing campaign on Sunday in Mongolia.

After Prince Cariño’s basket which gave the Philippines a 2-0 lead, it was all Chinese language Taipei from there, because the latter pulled away and led by as a lot as 27, 81-54, following Shu-Wei Lu’s triple on the 2:15 mark of the third interval.
