Future of Healthcare for an Aging Population Community Forum & Resource Fair | Saturday, October 25, 2025

SAN DIEGO — The Filipino American Chamber of Commerce Greater San Diego (FACC GSD) will host Future of Healthcare for an Aging Population, a free community forum and resource fair on Saturday, October 25, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at WestPac Wealth Partners, 5280 Carroll Canyon Rd., Suite 300, San Diego, CA 92121.

Designed for older adults, family caregivers, and professionals, the event brings together healthcare leaders and community partners to share practical tools for healthy aging, caregiving support, technology access, and financial well-being.

Featured speakers and panelists include Rene dela Ros, MD (Lifestyle Medicine); Archie Bella, MD, MBA (Operation Samahan); Cole Samaroo (Senior Tech Connect); and Jocelyn Protopappas (SDSU Center for Excellence in Aging & Longevity). Sessions will cover aging-in-place strategies, primary and preventative care, hospice and palliative pathways, digital literacy for seniors, and planning for healthcare costs. With Speakers Joe Garbanzos, AARP California and Sayone Thihalolipavan, MD, County of San Diego.

“San Diego is growing older and more diverse. This forum is about meeting people where they are—with culturally responsive resources and clear next steps,” said Femie V. Cupit, Founding President & CEO of FACC GSD Foundation. “Whether you’re a caregiver, a community leader, or planning your own aging journey, you’ll leave with actionable guidance and connections.”

In addition to panel discussions, attendees can visit exhibitor tables featuring local service providers and community programs. Complimentary light refreshments will be provided. Limited seating is available.
