Filipino Culinary Experience Featured at Food Culture Festival in Saudi Arabia

RIYADH 14 February 2025 — The Philippine Embassy, in partnership with Mama Sita’s and Fiestahan Restaurant, participated in the recently concluded Food Culture Festival, which took place in Al Khobar from 29 January to 02 February and in Riyadh from 05 to 09 February 2025.
The Embassy-led collaboration provided an opportunity for festivalgoers to experience and enjoy freshly cooked Filipino dishes made with Mama Sita’s products, promoting appreciation of Filipino fare that included adobo, beef caldereta, chicken barbecue, kare-kare, pancit canton and sinigang.
The festival, sponsored by the Saudi Culinary Arts Commission under the Ministry of Culture, featured extensive food offerings and included an array of cultural activities such as live musical performances, cooking demonstrations, and interactive culinary experiences designed to engage attendees and foster a deeper appreciation for global cuisines.
