Farm Fresh reinforcement Helene Rousseaux exploded for 38 points to lead the Foxies past Nxled, 22-25, 25-23, 25-19, 25-21, on Thursday in the PVL Reinforced Conference at the City of Dasmariñas Arena.
Rousseaux’s 38-point performance came from 31 attacks, four aces, and three blocks, along with 15 receptions and eight digs.
After taking the first set, Nxled was handed a one-point penalty at the start of Set 2 due to a uniform violation: the wrong jersey color. This gave Farm Fresh a 1-0 lead to open the second set, which they eventually won en route to taking the next two sets and securing the victory.
Aside from Rousseaux, Trisha Tubu led the local charge with 10 points.
Chiara Permentilla and Paola Martinez paced the Chameleons with 18 and 15 points, respectively.
