Aside from the flagship Xiaomi 17 Ultra, the brand also introduced its latest smartwatch in China, the Xiaomi Watch 5.
The Xiaomi Watch 5 sports a 1.54-inch AMOLED display in a 47 mm case with a 2.6 mm ultra-narrow bezel, and up to 1500 nits peak brightness for enhanced outdoor visibility. Synthetic sapphire glass is used for both the display and the heart-rate sensor for protection and durability.
A dual-chip architecture powers the smartwatch: a 4nm Qualcomm Snapdragon W5 wearable processor for system and graphics, paired with a BES2800 (Hengxuan 2800) low-power 5-core chip for monitoring tasks and battery efficiency.
The 930 mAh battery capacity of the Watch 5 is claimed to last up to six days in performance mode and up to 18 days in power-saving mode.

In terms of health and fitness, the Xiaomi Watch 5 supports over 150 sports modes, including gym (80+ equipment-based courses with 3D animated guidance) and outdoor activities. Health monitoring features include ECG analysis with 30-second readings, continuous heart rate and SpO₂ monitoring, sleep tracking, stress detection, and one-tap health scans.
Moreover, the smartwatch has an eSIM model that supports independent connectivity, such as calls, messaging, apps, and daily tasks without a phone. It also supports China Mobile dual-terminal and China Unicom independent watch number services.
There’s also an EMG muscle signal sensor, which allows users to control calls, media, and connected devices through finger gestures.
The Xiaomi Watch 5 is compatible with Xiaomi’s HyperOS, with features including dynamic watch faces, Super Island notifications, and Super Xiao Ai voice assistant.
For straps, it comes with a 3D-printed titanium strap, fluororubber straps, and genuine leather straps (eSIM model).

The Xiaomi Watch 5 is priced at CNY 1,999 (~PHP 16,723) for the standard version, while the eSIM model retails for CNY 2,299 (~PHP 19,232). The watch is now available in China.
