MANILA, Philippines — Panasonic Philippines and Addessa Corporation kicked off this year’s Appliance Expo with a Fun Run held last September at MarQuee Mall, Angeles City, Pampanga.

This fun run and partnership aimed to promote wellness, a healthy lifestyle and everyday comfort to the community.

Working together for wellness and comfort comes naturally to both companies. Panasonic Philippines strives to provide #TrueJapaneseExcellence through innovative appliances.

Meanwhile, Addessa—a homegrown appliance, furniture and gadgets dealer based in Pangasinan—hopes to make every suki’s home a comfortable place to live in. Thus, the opportunity for a Fun Run and Expo brought these like-minded brands and thousands of homeowners together.

Mindful wellness for more

The Fun Run attracted runners from all over the area. Novice runners, running club members, kids, young adults and even seniors rushed to snag one of the 3,000 slots.

Each race kit included a shirt and race bib. Medals were given out to the first 100 finishers in each category (3K, 5K, 10K).

Before the gun start, runners warmed up with a Zumba session and other exercises. After hitting the track, they enjoyed games, raffles and an awarding ceremony.

Notable attendees included Harry Sarmiento, director and managing executive officer of Panasonic Philippines; Satoshi Kono, vice president and chief operating officer; and Sonia Dela Cruz-Canonizado, vice president of Addessa Corporation.

True Japanese excellence for Addessa’s ‘suki’ community

This energetic kickoff was the perfect start for the Addessa x Panasonic Appliance Expo 2025. Shoppers got to see a wide range of #JapanQuality products, available through Addessa.

The exhibits showcased the technology behind the latest Panasonic appliances.

Customers learned about features like AI ECONAVI, which helps Panasonic Refrigerators optimize cooling performance; Prime Fresh, which keeps meat and fish fresh and easy to prepare; and Prime Freeze, which locks in food’s flavor, nutrients and texture.

Shoppers also got a chance to learn about features like AI Smart Wash, which helps optimize Panasonic Washing Machines’ time, water and energy usage.

Those looking to upgrade their cooling systems also saw how they could maximize Panasonic’s Air Conditioners’ built-in Wi-Fi and nanoe X technology to keep their homes comfortable.

Even those shopping for smaller appliances found #JapanQuality selections, such as Panasonic speakers, electric fans and cordless vacuum cleaners.

Every corner of the MarQuee Mall activity center was tastefully set up and decorated, giving customers the chance to visualize the appliances in their own homes.

The appliance expo featured appliances in various ‘rooms’ to help customers envision them in their own homes.

Those shopping at the expo didn’t just score new appliances—they also learned how they could register these smart devices to the new MyPanasonic App. This app makes it easier for customers to manage warranties, schedule maintenance, claim vouchers, and reach out to customer service.

And that wasn’t all the expo had to offer. Addessa raffled off 80 TVs, a tablet and other special prizes!

The Addessa x Panasonic Fun Run and Appliance Expo successfully promoted both the brands’ mission of health, wellness and comfort.

Like the shoppers at the recent expo, you too can bring these #JapanQuality products to your home!
