MANILA, Philippines — Hair growth product brand Trinoxteride gathered 13 licensed medical doctors and industry experts recently for a roundtable discussion addressing an often overlooked issue in the Philippines: the silent stigma surrounding women’s hair loss.

While hair loss conversations among men have become more open in recent years, many Filipina women remain hesitant to discuss early signs of thinning, shedding, or alopecia.

This silence often delays treatment and worsens the emotional and physical impact. The event aimed to break this stigma by creating a safe space for open dialogue and medically guided education.

The program also served as the soft launch of the Trinoxteride Hair Loss Preventive System, a three-step regimen designed to help men, women, and even children prevent early-stage hair fall.

The star ingredient of the system is a new generation, plant-based compound backed by global clinical research called Redensyl.

Trinoxteride chief executive office Ramon Natcher led the product presentation, sharing the brand’s mission to introduce science-backed, effective, and safer alternatives to the Philippine hair-care industry.

He described Redensyl as a breakthrough ingredient as it offers the effectiveness of traditional treatments while remaining gentle, non-irritating, and suitable for a broader range of consumers.

“We want to make preventive hair care accessible, safe, and backed by real science,” Natcher added.

During the roundtable discussion, a panel of dermatologists and medical doctors reviewed the available clinical studies on Redensyl. Based on the evidence presented:

  • It shows significant effectiveness in stimulating hair growth and reducing hair fall, making it a strong alternative to commonly used topical treatments
  • It is plant-based, non-hormonal, and gentle, resulting in minimal to no side effects
  • It can be safely used by men, women, pregnant women (with doctor’s guidance), and children, as it contains no harsh chemicals and is non-irritating

The doctors emphasized that the product offers a preventive approach ideal for individuals in the early stages of hair thinning, especially women who may be hesitant to seek treatment.

All attending physicians expressed strong support for the product as a science-backed option that fills the gap for patients looking for a gentle yet effective solution.

The event also featured a moving testimony from Miss Universe Philippines – Baguio 2025 Gwendoline Meliz Soriano, who experienced alopecia areata during her pageant run.

Soriano’s story shed light on the emotional toll of sudden hair loss and highlighted the importance of early detection, accessible treatment options, and open conversations — especially for women who often struggle with the pressure of beauty standards.

Her presence reinforced why discussions like this are vital in normalizing hair loss as a health concern rather than a source of shame.
