MANILA, Philippines — With so many bars around, competing for the attention of both bar-goers and industry leaders and stakeholders, it is already difficult as it is for a bar to stand out and be recognized for what it’s worth.
So, imagine the joy and elation that Hong Kong’s Bar Leone feels to be named not just as a local favorite in Hong Kong, but as The World’s Best Bar 2025.
For this honor, Bar Leone beat hundreds of bars worldwide in a competition judged by top bartenders and hospitality experts. Bar Leone’s triumph also marks the first time ever that an Asia-based bar claimed the top spot in the awards’ 17-year history.

“To be named the number one bar in the world is not only an incredible honor for us at Bar Leone, but also a truly proud moment for Hong Kong,” said Lorenzo Antinori, owner of Bar Leone.
“This recognition not only highlights our hard work but also affirms that our city belongs at the very heart of the global bar industry, celebrated for its creativity and warm hospitality,” he added.
