MANILA, Philippines — IV of Spades have added another show at the Mall of Asia Arena after tickets for the band’s December 12 concert sold out.
The rock band’s new date will be the following evening, December 13, as confirmed by promoter Karpos.
The promoter previously teased the initial show would see Unique Salonga (returning to the group after five years), Badjao de Castro, Blaster Silonga and Zild Benitez play new music live for the first time and reimagine some classics.
Such tracks would be early hits “Ilaw sa Daan,” “Hey Barbara,” “Where Have You Been My Disco?” and “Mundo,” as well as “ClapClapClap!” singles “In My Prison,” “Bata, Dahan-Dahan,” “Take That Man,” “Bawat Kaluluwa” and “Come Inside of My Heart.”
Both concerts will come a month after IV of Spades releases its second full-length album “Andalucia,” which has already released four singles: “Aura,” “Nanaman,” “Konsensya” and “Suliranin.”
Tickets for the second show will be available on November 9 — four days after “Andalucia” drops — at noon via the SM Tickets website and outlets nationwide.
IV of Spades recently bagged a win at the inaugural Filipino Music Awards as “Aura” was recognized as Rock Song of the Year while Zild won Alternative Song of the Year for his track “I.N.A.S.”
