HUAWEI is gearing up to launch its upcoming smartphone, the HUAWEI Mate 70 Air, which will compete with other ultra-slim models from different brands. It is already listed on the China Telecom website and is rumored to be released on October 29.
The HUAWEI Mate 70 Air is rumored to feature a thin 6.x mm body and a 6.9-inch display with an 18.8:9 aspect ratio. At the back, it will reportedly sport a circular XMAGE camera module housing a 1/1.3-inch main camera sensor paired with a “red maple” lens.
Under the hood, it is rumored to come with 12GB RAM and up to 512GB of storage. It will run HarmonyOS 5 out of the box.
The HUAWEI Mate 70 Air will reportedly ship with physical SIM support only, unlike Apple’s eSIM-only iPhone Air. This will cater to local demand, where eSIM adoption isn’t particularly strong.
Additionally, it could launch in Golden Black, Feather White, and Gold Silver Brocade color options.
