Samsung has unveiled its latest smartphone in India, the Samsung Galaxy M17 5G. It is a rebranded Galaxy A17; the colors that are offered are the only things that set them apart.
The Samsung Galaxy M17 5G sports a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED with FHD+ resolution, a 90Hz refresh rate, 1,100 nits peak brightness, and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus.
Inside is Samsung’s Exynos 1330 chipset paired with up to 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage (expandable up to 2TB via microSD). It also packs a 5,000mAh battery capacity with 25W wired charging support.
Camera-wise, the device is equipped with a 50MP main sensor with OIS, a 5MP ultra-wide shooter, and a 2MP macro lens. Upfront is a 13MP selfie camera.
It runs on One UI 7.0 based on Android 15, and the brand promises 6 years of software and security updates.
Other features include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, bottom-ported speakers, and an IP54 rating for dust and water resistance.
Available colors are Moonlight Silver and Sapphire Black.
The Samsung Galaxy M17 5G starts at INR 12,499 (~PHP 8,217) and will go on sale in India starting October 13.
