Kelly Coronel showed his all-around game to lead Emilio Aguinaldo College to a 60-51 win over Jose Rizal University in the NCAA Season 101 juniors basketball on Tuesday at the FilOil EcoOil Centre.

The 6-foot-4 baller posted 16 points alongside six rebounds, two steals, two blocks, and one assist to help the Brigadiers bounce back from a tough two-point loss to Benilde-LSGH last Saturday.

The Brigadiers have also improved to 1-1 in Group B while the Light Bombers dropped to 0-2.

Coronel, who was among EAC’s top performers last season together with Ian Cuajao and EJ Castillo, didn’t lack the support with Clint Bonus and Tristan Allam both churning out 10 points.

Allam also flirted with a double-double after grabbing nine rebounds while Bonus collected four boards, four assists, four steals, and one block to help EAC enter the win column.

CJ Satparam paced JRU in the loss, tallying 15 points and seven rebounds while Persist Loque and Aethan Ruedas chimed in with 12 and 10 markers apiece.
