MANILA, Philippines — Former Miss Universe Philippines organization director Shamcey Supsup, who is running as an independent councilor in Pasig, cast her votes earlier today.
In an interview with the media, Shamcey urged the people to vote.
“Sa mga hindi pa nakaboto, please exercise your right to vote. Every vote counts kaya importante na ipakita natin ‘yung ating boses,” she said.
“Wala ‘yan sa status, sa gender, pantay-pantay ang boto natin kaya sana ‘wag natin sayangin ang karapatan natin sa pagboto,” she added.
Shamcey has resigned from Pasig political party Kaya This after congressional aspirant Christian Sia’s “disrespectful” joke against single mothers.
