MANILA, Philippines — Popular Filipino dishes just got more indulgent with Wagyu instead of the regular meat. This is the inspiration behind a new restaurant in Quezon City.
Wagyu Haven turns well-loved Filipino fare into more special treats with its Wagyu creations: Wagyu Sisig, Wagyu Adobo and Wagyu Sinigang.
“Hindi mawawala ang Sisig, Adobo, Sinigang. Pero sa amin, high-quality Wagyu ang ginamit. Para ito sa mga naghahanap ng comfort,” said restaurant owner Ravien Bracero.
From Wagyu x Filipino fusion, Bracerno said that the restaurant also offers Double Wagyu Hamburger Steak, Seared Wagyu & Sea Urchin Claypot Rice, Wagyu Cut Steak, Wagyu Soft Boiled Tendon Claypot Rice, Wagyu Beef Sukiyaki Claypot Rice, Salmon and Ikura.
“Our Pinoy kitchen team is trained by a Japanese chef in preparation, cooking, and serving to provide guests with the whole Japan experience,” he said.
Bracero also said that their Wagyu dishes can only be prepared by their Japanese chef.
“Wagyu is solely prepared by our Japanese chef, who employs traditional techniques to showcase its exceptional qualities. Every meal at Wagyu Haven is prepared with the same care and attention as in Japan’s finest kitchens. For our Japanese partners, this is a tribute legacy and a story of authenticity, craftsmanship, and perfection,” she said.
Bracero said ther partners have direct contact from Japan, assuring that their Wagyu are real and authentic.
“Walang extenders. And then, nakita namin ‘yung mismong baka. May sinusunod silang standard,” Bracero said.
Wagyu Haven is located at II Terrazzo on Scout Madriñan, Quezon City.
