MANILA, Philippines — Security Bank Corp. has launched a new digital reward platform for credit card users, aiming to make earning and redeeming rewards faster, simpler and more meaningful for customers.

In its launch, Security Bank unveiled its new BetterBanking Rewards platform during the “Ready. Set. Redeem!” event and mall takeover at Shangri-La Plaza in Mandaluyong.

The digital rewards platform offers a real-time, fully automated system that allows cardholders to track, manage and redeem their points with greater ease.

Security Bank vice president and credit cards head Meri Filart said the platform was developed to respond to customer demand for flexibility and transparency.

“BetterBanking Rewards will redefine how our customers experience banking – by making every transaction rewarding, every moment convenient and every point meaningful,” she said.

Filart also noted that the platform was built around simplicity, speed and customer empowerment.

“We listened to our customers and understood that they wanted more flexibility and transparency in how they manage their rewards. Every swipe should feel rewarding – and now, it truly is,” she said.

Through BetterBanking Rewards, cardholders can redeem points in real time, use their rewards globally at Mastercard-accepting locations through the Pay with Rewards feature and convert their points into airline miles or hotel loyalty programs through Points Exchange.

“We’re continuously reimagining what banking should feel like,” Filart said. “BetterBanking Rewards is just the start of a more personalized, digital-first experience that gives our customers the freedom to enjoy the rewards that matter most to them.”

Customers can apply for a Security Bank credit card and register for BetterBanking Rewards through the bank’s website or mobile app to start earning and redeeming points anytime, anywhere.
